LANDSCAPE UNDER CONTROL
Other, Student TU Delft landscape
The manuscript plays with the current condition of the Dutch man-made landscape, which includes total control of the water system, and takes it to the extreme. The vision is to collect and distribute rainwater straight from the clouds. It is a horizontal layer of a thin and transparent modular curtain. One does not notice its existence when looking from the ground.
The vision represents any large-scale intervention in landscape that solves issues but at the same time evokes others. This process might go in circles. The manuscript questions the thin line between nature and control.
