The manuscript is a 3D-printed clay object, created using robotic fabrication guided by a custom-designed algorithm. This algorithm explores the boundaries of expression within a defined envelope of 44 x 32 x 7 cm, pushing the limits of what is possible within the constraints of the fabrication process. The piece is finished with a pearl-white glaze, developed in collaboration with Royal Tichelaar, showcasing an exquisite balance between technology and craftsmanship. This work represents Studio RAP’s ongoing research into redefining ornamentation in architecture, aiming to create designs that are both diverse and inspiring, transforming how we experience the built environment.
