A series of complementary spaces have been created in 4 identical compartments by means of partitioning surfaces. These spaces display fundamentally different characteristics: concave/convex, flared/ tapered, narrow/wide, open/closed. By moving the viewpoint, the varying perspectives are visible to the eye in quick succession. The more or less constant light on the dark exterior surfaces is in contrast to the changing tints on the partitioning surfaces. Thus, the white sometimes appears to be darker than the dark grey.
